VIDEO
I've begun and shifting towards strategic media development at large versus strictly editing. This move isn't in opposition with my video experience--it's because of it. When you make the sauce long enough...you should probably become invested in how you source your ingredients and who the product's going to.
Most recently, I worked as a Contract Video Editor for Pennant Video which focuses on the marketing trifecta of anthem, explainer, and endorsement videos for organizations spanning manufacturing, healthcare, education, business, and technology. Prior to that, I was a full-time Video Editor at Matter Communications (the unit rebranded as "Gusto") for 3 years. I worked closely with individual clients and full teams to identify internal and external marketing and communications needs and execute media projects with post-production budgets ranging from $25,000-70,000 5-7x per quarter.
I've continued to hone fluent capabilities in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects to carry out all post-production needs from ingest/transcription (logging large bodies of footage 1+ Tb in 4K using proxy workflows), through script drafting, editing, mastering, color correction, keying, digital screen compositing, data visualization, lower thirds, titles, logo/still-asset animation, client revision cycles, and final encoding/compression.
Below, you'll find some of my past projects along with some context to shed light on production challenges, workflows, and results.
